Want to pass on your family values and traditions? Have a Family Reunion. Family reunions are not only about catching up and getting reacquainted; they are about preventing the generational loss of family values and traditions. They enable the building of family legacies. The November meeting of the Southington Genealogical Society, will feature guest speaker Robert Wolfe a.k.a. Uncle Bob, author of Secrets of Successful Family Reunions.
The SGS meeting will be held at The Orchards at Southington in their second floor community room on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 7:30 pm. There is no admission charge and no obligation to become a member. No reservations are necessary. The facility is handicapped accessible with an elevator.
With sixty years of planning and organizing family reunions, forty of which were annual, it is safe to say Uncle Bob qualifies as an expert on the subject. He will explain the entire process of planning, organizing, and executing a successful Family Reunion. He will both inform and entertain.
