Southington Town Clerk, Kathy Larkin will speak at this month’s meeting of the Southington Genealogical Society. She will explain the various record types that are available for genealogical research at the Town Hall as well as their accessibility. Vital records, i.e. birth, death, and marriage; land records, maps and more.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 25 at 7:30 p.m. at The Orchards at Southington in their second floor community room.

Kathy Larkin has worked in the Southington Town Clerks office for 28 years, holding various positions during that time. Her vast experience has been enhanced by her educational achievements that include the New England Municipal Clerks Institute and Academy Connecticut Town Clerk School, International Institute of Municipal Clerks Certification (CMC), Certified Connecticut Town Clerk. She continues with educational classes and courses the certification of Master Municipal Clerk.
