On Tuesday, May 23, 2017,  at 7:30 pm,  lifetime resident of Southington,  Art Secondo,  will present a program on Italian immigration in Southington. Mr. Secondo served 5 terms on town council, former editor at Observer newspaper, former director of communications at Mulberry Gardens (formerly Chancellor Gardens), Chairman of Sons of Italy Board of Directors and was former President CEO of Chamber of Commerce (12 years). He is presently a columnist for the New Britain Herald & Bristol Press.

The Southington Genealogical Society is a non-profit organization located in central Connecticut that promotes the accurate recording, research and preservation of family history.
