The Southington Genealogical Society will meet on Tuesday, May 26 at 7 p.m. at the Southington Historical Society, 239 Main St. The main topic will be “Memorial Day: How They Served.” Bring a question or suggestion pertaining to military service and wartime experiences. Here’s some conversation starters:

Did they see action or were they part of the support effort?

Did the women in your family serve in the military, work in factories, run businesses or farms single-handedly, or nurse during war?
